TourPenguin Trek from Ushuaia

We will live this unique experience that will begin with a round trip land trip to "Estancia Harberton". From there, we will continue by boat to "Martillo" Island, where we will take a 1-hour walk to observe the penguins.

Our tour will begin at the tourist port of Ushuaia, from where we will travel by bus to Estancia Harberton. There, we will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the historic center of the estancia and visit the museum of birds and marine mammals, where we will learn more about the animals we will see during the cruise.

We will have free time to have lunch at the resort restaurant, and you are also allowed to bring a picnic. The boat will have a cafeteria that serves quick snacks. During the cruise, we will enjoy incredible panoramic views.

From Estancia Harberton, we will embark to explore the Bridges Archipelago and observe colonies of fur seals, imperial cormorants and other seabirds, such as gulls, petrels, albatrosses and cauquenes.

We will then make a brief stop in front of the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, named after the French expedition "La Romanche" in 1882. We will continue our navigation eastwards, towards "Martillo" Island, where we will find an important colony of "Magellanic Penguins" and, eventually, a small colony of "Gemonian Penguins".
