TourFagnano Lake Tour with Escondido

We will leave the city of Ushuaia along National Route No. 3 (Panamericana) towards the north of the island, to access the "Fuegian Andes" at the extreme end of the Andes Mountains, we will see valleys covered by peat bogs.

During the tour we will be able to observe the Carbajal, Tierra Mayor and Las Cotorras valleys and then reach the Garibaldi Pass (450 meters above sea level), on the other side of the Andes Mountains, with a beautiful view of the Escondido and Fagnano lakes.

At the head of Lake Fagnano we will make a brief stop to enjoy the landscape. From there we will begin our return to the city, stopping for an optional lunch that will allow us to taste the typical Fuegian lamb roast.

Serviced and unserviced hotels: hotels and guesthouses in the city of Ushuaia, except Hotel Bagu. Not valid for hostels and apartments for temporary rental.

It is recommended to dress in layers and have gloves, glasses, hat, snow/trekking boots, snow pants, waterproof jacket, small backpack and sunscreen.

Does not include lunch. Places for lunch are Las Cotorras or Tierra Mayor. It is not permitted to consume meals inside the bus or inside the winter center restaurant. Therefore, they have two options: hire with lunch or pay for lunch on site on the day of the tour in cash or credit/debit card.

Opening hours are from October until May 30th, depending on the weather and the opening of the winter centers.
