The Tourism Capital of Santa Catarina boasts, in addition to beaches, a modern infrastructure with strong commerce, a varied gastronomy, and plenty of leisure activities. On this tour, our destination is Barra Sul, where we'll visit: Oceanic Aquarium, a large, modern aquarium with over 100 species living in a variety of underwater habitats, the largest in southern Brazil; Barra Walkway, a connection between the modern and historic sides of the Barra neighborhood where the city began; Barra Sul Pier, which offers a beautiful view of the entire coastline; Eu Amo BC sign, a must-see photo spot; Pirate Ship Pier, an adventure-filled boat ride where visitors board a large pirate ship with panoramic views and a costumed crew performing a show; Unipraias Park, the only tourist complex in the world connecting two beaches via aerial cable cars; and much more!
Unipraias Natural Park is connected by a network of cable cars that runs from Laranjeiras Beach to Barra Sul Beach, via the Atlantic Forest station at the top of Aguada Hill. Three stations are connected by 47 aerial cable cars that travel 3.25 km at a maximum altitude of 240 meters.
The first stop is at Mata Atlântica Station, where there are lookouts with incredible views of the beach. Next comes Laranjeiras Station, for those who want to enjoy a nice swim on a quiet beach, as well as excellent beach bars and restaurants. There, you'll have excellent views of the city and participate in thrilling activities like Youhooo!—a mountain sled that runs at up to 60 km/h and will get your heart racing. But if you like to take things a little slower, simply use the brakes to slow down.
Another thrilling activity is the ZipRider!—a thrilling 750-meter descent through the Atlantic Forest, where adventurers are suspended from a cable, seated in a modern chair that reaches an average speed of 60 km/h, and have the privilege of enjoying the scenery and the feeling of freedom at 240 meters above sea level. There are four chairs, side by side, so you can enjoy this ride with friends or family.
Unipraias Park is the ideal place to get the best views of the city, explore the Balneário, and enjoy exciting experiences.
At the end of the tour, you'll have the opportunity to see a major attraction: the FG Big Wheel, offering incredible views of Balneário. If you visit this attraction, you'll have to return to your hotel on your own, but you'll have more time to enjoy Pontal Norte later in the day.
