- City tour in Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville
Honfleur, a small town located on the Seine estuary, has attracted many famous painters in the past. Monet, Turner and Vuillard have all passed through here. Today, it continues to attract crowds thanks to its history, its narrow streets, its old port and its charm. It was one of the few towns in Normandy spared from the destruction of the Second World War.
The historic center is completely preserved. Its slate buildings, in typical Norman style, now house several shops and art galleries, which are open all day.
We will then head towards Deauville, a seaside resort renowned for its casino, palaces, the architecture of its buildings, marinas, racecourse, golf courses and luxury shops... It attracts thousands of tourists every year and is a regular visitor to numerous celebrities from the worlds of cinema, television and fashion, as well as people from the business and political worlds.
Every year in September, the American Film Festival takes place in the city. It is not as important as Cannes, but the festival prides itself on attracting movie stars without all the fanfare of its Mediterranean rival.
Next, we will go to Trouville beach, next to Deauville, located next to each other, separated by a river. They are the two closest beaches to the capital.
