- Emerald Lagoon Sunset Trail - At Night
The route begins as we leave the city along the Pan-American Route (RNº3), heading toward the outskirts of Ushuaia. The imposing Olivia and Cinco Hermanos mountains mark the way. A 5-km trail (10 km total) separates us from the access to the Laguna Esmeralda Mountain Refuge.
Accompanied by experienced guides and equipped with crampons, flashlights, and hiking poles, we'll explore this conventional trail in a completely different way, immersed in the silence of the night. Dinner on the mountain, the warmth of a campfire, the company of the stars, and the safety of a shelter are some of the elements that make this experience unforgettable.
The circuit offers us the opportunity to hike through the Fuegian forests under the cover of darkness, awakening all our senses and discovering the serenity this environment exudes. The landscape we'll traverse reveals valleys carved by the erosion of ancient glaciers, a history etched in every corner of the mountains.
This activity has unique characteristics, as the weather plays a fundamental role in its development. However, our guides will always be in direct contact with participants, offering support and detailed information to ensure each step is part of a satisfying and safe experience.
The order of activities will depend on weather conditions. After we contact you, we'll ask you to fill out a medical form, which you should also include if you have any dietary restrictions.
