Completely original are the 14th-century wall paintings, the collection of 129 panel paintings by Master Theodoric in the Chapel of the Holy Cross (the largest of its kind in the world), the largest gallery of portraits of Czech sovereigns in the country, and a replica of the crown of the Holy Roman Emperors and the crown of St. Wenceslas—the coronation crown of Czech kings.
