This is the most comprehensive introduction to Prague. It combines the most interesting and important sites from three of our tours (Prague Grand City Tour, Royal Route Tour, and Vltava River Cruise). Our bus departs from Revolucni Street: you'll see the Estates Theatre, where the premiere of W.A. Mozart's opera Don Giovanni took place. We'll travel along the National Theatre to the Smetana Embankment for wonderful panoramic views of Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. We'll tour the Old Town and New Town, and see Wenceslas Square, which the Czechs consider the heart of Prague; it's here that Czech history was written. Next, we'll cross Charles Square. You can see the Dancing House on the river. The bus tour ends in the Castle area.
Our guide will show you the Prague Castle area, Charles Bridge, the Clementinum, the Town Hall (not available from November 1st to March 31st) and the Old Town Square with its famous Astronomical Clock, dating back to 1410.
We'll cross the river to reach the Lesser Quarter, presided over by the Church of St. Nicholas. Soon after, we'll begin our tour of Prague Castle, passing St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, and St. George's Convent to reach the Old Castle Steps. We'll descend to our bus, which will take us to Charles Bridge. We'll say a few words about its statues, and then, beneath the statue of Charles IV on the other side of the bridge, we'll board a cruise. There, you'll fall in love with the picturesque corners of the Lesser Quarter.
The last part of this tour is a 1-hour boat trip through Prague's historic center with an audio guide in English. Notes:
