Dresden was once known as "Florence on the Elbe" (Elbflorenz), but its beauty was nearly destroyed during the bombing raids on the nights of February 13 and 14, 1945. Join us on a tour that will introduce you to a city that rose from the ashes like a mythical phoenix. Thanks to the continued efforts of generations of city dwellers, Dresden has been restored to its original beauty.
We'll travel to the northern border of the Czech Republic and, after a 3-hour drive, arrive in central Dresden. Upon arrival, visit the world-famous Zwinger Gallery with its collections of renowned artistic masters. See Raphael's Sistine Madonna, as well as paintings by Titian, Canaletto, Lucas Cranach the Elder, and Flemish artists. Stroll through the castle complex, which has been completely renovated, and visit the reconstructed Church of the Virgin Mary. This wonderful church is a dominant feature of the city. After your guided tour, enjoy free time for lunch or shopping. Notes: * The tour will be carried out with a minimum of 4 passengers
* Travelers must bring their passport and a valid visa when traveling.
