ITINERARY
Mouille Point was the first modern lighthouse in operation. It was built in 1824.
At Sea Point, we have panoramic views of the ocean and mountains. Sea Point is one of the most picturesque spots on the Atlantic coast. It's about 7 miles long and easy to walk, hike, or bike, as it's flat and well-maintained. It's also considered the heart of the Jewish community and was recently voted the coolest spot on the African continent.
Clifton is the richest place in the country, considered the Beverly Hills of Africa, and is supposed to offer the best leisure and recreation opportunities for beach and fun lovers.
It's a beautiful panoramic viewpoint located between Clifton Beach and Glen Beach, in the prestigious Cape Town suburb of Campsbay. It's known for its magnificent views of Lion's Head and the Twelve Apostles, as well as the Atlantic Ocean. Dolphins are often seen playing in the water.
Visit Seal Island, about 45 minutes back on a fantastic ocean safari. See playful seals, a variety of birds, and beautiful scenery. If you're lucky, you might spot majestic whales, playful dolphins, and other marine creatures, especially dolphins, great white sharks, penguins, seals, and whales.
It's one of the most rewarding scenic drives in the world. The road hugs the nearly vertical face of the mountain, connecting Hout Bay to the Noordhoek district. It has 114 curves over no more than a kilometer and is 593 meters above sea level. Tourists and locals alike often stop at the viewpoints along the way.
Noordhoek is the longest beach, stretching 6 km from the Chapmans Peak exit to the Kommitjie lighthouse. It is the longest and most spectacular beach in all of Cape Town, if not the world.
Founded in 1679 by the second governor, Simon Van der Stel, it is the second-oldest city in South Africa and home to the South African naval base, the former headquarters of the British Commonwealth, which the British took over in 1944 after World War II. From here, you can see Martello House, the oldest British building in the country and the oldest of its kind in the world. Lunch at the Harbor View Restaurant (exclusive).
Boulder Beach is home to approximately 3,000 penguin colonies, home to the endangered tuxedo penguin, originally from South America, specifically the African penguin. Your guide will also provide information on the current status of the penguins. We'll explore the Cape of Good Hope and take our iconic photo with the cape's name, specifying the latitude and longitude, proving that it plunged into the Cape of Good Hope Passage. Followed by a visit to the Cape Point Lighthouse, built in 1859 on Dagama Peak. The summit of Cape Point is 238 meters above sea level, making it very ineffective in fog. We will explore the two lighthouses, the monuments of Barthelemu Diaz (1488), the first European to sail to Africa, and Vasco Dagama (1497). We will be able to observe ostriches, Cape Chacma baboons, the Cape eland, the largest antelope on the African continent, mountain zebras and other mammals.
Muizenberg, 1795, records the British victory and occupation of the colony against the Dutch after a three-month war. It is also known as the most rewarding surfing beach in the country, if not the world, because of the warm water.
This hospital reminds us of the world's first heart transplant, performed in 1967 by Dr. Christian Barnard.
The Castle of Good Hope is the oldest house in the country, built in 1666 and completed in 1679 by the first governor Jan van Reebiek.
A popular daytime destination in the hills, known for its narrow cobblestone streets lined with colorful houses, the local Cape Malay culture is represented in the locals. Bo-kaap since 1834 END of slavery in the Cape region, home to descendants of slavery, mainly from Malaysia, Indonesia, Madagascar, and Sri Lanka. The multicolored houses represent diversity, the Rainbow nation, as, as you would expect, people from different countries, tribes, and nationalities have merged in one place.
