We'll tour the city's main streets, squares, and avenues. We'll begin at Parque del Amor in Miraflores, with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial center of the ancient Lima culture; and in San Isidro, the city's financial center, we'll see Huaca Huallamarca, an ancient pre-Inca sanctuary. We'll then continue to the Main Square, where we'll find the Government Palace and City Hall. We'll visit the Cathedral and explore the Convent of Santo Domingo, along which the San Martin de Porres and San Rosa de Lima runners used to walk in the 17th century, and where their remains rest today. Next, we'll visit the private collection of Mr. Mujica Gallo, a man who throughout his life contributed to the recovery of Peruvian historical heritage, particularly the plantations of northern Peru. He created the Peruvian Gold Museum Foundation, where more than 2,000 gold, silver, and brass pieces belonging to the Mochica, Chimu, and Inca cultures are exhibited. Among the most precious treasures are nosepieces, pots and utensils for religious purposes, as well as some mummies. There is also a room displaying Inca and Paracas textiles, as well as pottery and some clothing. Among the site's curiosities, you can find the Weapons of the World collection, considered one of the finest of its kind, as it houses relics of important figures in world history.
