Guided tour of Montevideo in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus, with photo stops at the most important historical sites. We'll visit Plaza Independencia, home to the citadel gate, the Solis Theater, the Executive Tower, Palacio Salvo, and the monument to Uruguayan hero Jose Gervasio Artigas. We'll travel along part of the main avenue (18 de Julio) to the Legislative Palace. We'll visit the Agricultural Market, housed in a historic building and offering a wide variety of local products. The next stop on the tour is Jose Battle and Ordonez Park, where we'll see the Monument to La Carreta, before continuing along Montevideo's waterfront from Pocitos to Carrasco. At the end of the tour, we'll return to our hotels. Notes: Guide in Spanish, English and Portuguese
