Our first stop is the famous archaeological site of Phaistos, one of the most important cities of the Minoan civilization. You will have 45 minutes of free time to explore the site, learn about its fascinating history, and appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the region.
Next, we set off for the charming coastal village of Matala, with its golden sandy beach, crystal-clear waters, and famous caves carved into the cliffs. Enjoy 1 hour and 45 minutes to swim, relax, or stroll through the colorful streets of this unique village, full of history and character.
At 1:45 PM, we will arrive at the tranquil village of Zaros, known for its crystal-clear spring waters and natural beauty. Here, you will have 2 hours to enjoy an optional lunch featuring local specialties, stroll along the shores of the serene Lake Votomos, and visit the traditional watermills, which reveal the region's rich cultural heritage.
