- Regular tour of the Villavicencio Reserve

One of the most fascinating excursions for those visiting the Mendoza region is a trip to the Villavicencio Protected Natural Reserve, a true ecological sanctuary that combines lush nature, history, and beautiful landscapes. Located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, this protected area offers a rich and immersive experience, accompanied by a specialized guide who provides valuable information about the local fauna, flora, and geology.
During the journey, visitors can see the iconic Hotel Villavicencio, a historic building surrounded by beautiful European-style gardens, reminiscent of the peak period of thermal tourism in Argentina. Although currently closed for lodging, the hotel remains an architectural and cultural landmark of the region. Nearby, the charming Villavicencio Chapel stands out, a small temple that complements the scenery with its tranquil and spiritual atmosphere.
The route to the reserve also includes the famous "Caracoles de Villavicencio," a winding stretch of mountain road composed of dozens of zigzag curves that snake along the Andean slopes. Besides the thrill of the journey, the route offers breathtaking views, a spectacle in itself.
At the top of the trail, a must-see stop is the Mirante viewpoint, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the region, with the mountains in the background and the valley stretching into the distance. It's the perfect spot for photos and contemplating nature in its purest form.
This tour offers a unique combination of adventure, history, and contact with the environment — ideal for those who wish to explore the natural and cultural richness of the Mendoza area in a guided and enriching way.
