Close to the capital, São José de Ribamar is a place of faith and a lot of religiosity. Home to the patron saint, this city holds one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in Brazil. Curiosities and many surprises will be found here, as well as a beautiful view of São José Bay on the city's shores. Then we will visit the city of Raposa. There, the tour is in a biana (vessel) through the beautiful natural landscapes formed by mangroves and dunes by the ocean, forming a paradisiacal place affectionately named “Fronhas Maranhenses”.
Route: Departure from the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the city of Raposa. Ride in a regional boat (biana) through igarapés to the beach. Bath, and return to the city. Stop for lunch (not included). Visit to the city of São José de Ribamar and return to the hotel.
Main attractions: Rendeiras Street, Sarnambi Bath, Carimã Beach, Mother Church of São José de Ribamar, Path of São José, Monument to São José, Ex-Votos Museum and Lourdes Grotto.
