Near the capital, São José de Ribamar is a place of faith and intense religiosity. Home to the patron saint, this city boasts one of the most beautiful shrines in Brazil.

Next, we'll visit the town of Raposa. There, we'll take a boat ride through the beautiful natural landscapes of mangroves and dunes along the ocean's edge, forming a paradisiacal location affectionately known as "Maranhense Pillowcases."
Route: Departure from the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the city of Raposa. Ride in a regional boat (biana) along the creeks to the beach. Swim, and return to the city. Stop for lunch. Visit the city of São José de Ribamar and return to the hotel.
Main attractions: Rendeiras Street, Sarnambi Bath, Carimã Beach, São José de Ribamar Parish Church, São José Path, Monument to São José, Ex-Votos Museum and Lourdes Grotto.
