- Taormina, Giardini Naxos, and Castelmola

We'll visit three of Sicily's most iconic attractions: Giardini Naxos, Castelmola, and the splendid Taormina. Don't miss them!
The first part of the tour will be dedicated to visiting the coastal village of Giardini Naxos, the first Greek colony in Sicily, founded in 734 BC. After walking along the coast, we'll head to Castelmola, but first, we'll make a brief stop at "Isola Bella," a Nature Reserve considered the "pearl of the Ionian Sea" for its wild beauty. From here, you'll admire the bay, protected by the high walls of the promontories of Capo S. Andrea, home to the renowned Blue Grotto and Capo Taormina. In Castelmola, strolling through the town's characteristic streets, you'll admire the ruins of the Norman walls and Piazza Duomo with the main church, rebuilt between 1934 and 1935 on top of the pre-existing cathedral and dedicated to Saint Nicholas of Bari.
The final part of the tour will be dedicated to visiting picturesque Taormina. Along the town's main street, Corso Umberto, closed downstream by Porta Messina and upstream by Porta Catania, you'll admire its most important monuments: Palazzo Corvaja; Teatro Antico*; Piazza IX Aprile; the Clock Tower; the Cathedral Fortress (Duomo); Antica Badia; Palazzo Duchi di Santo Stefano, and much more. You'll also have the opportunity to shop in exclusive shops, alternating with characteristic artisan workshops.
