You'll receive an enlightening tour of beautiful Lisbon. Heading to the Belém neighborhood, you'll discover this jewel in Lisbon's crown. Located at the meeting point of the Tagus River with the Atlantic, Belém was the starting point for Portuguese maritime explorations in the 15th and 16th centuries.
Between modern exhibitions and bustling cafes are historic sites and monuments that defined an empire. Time to visit the Belém Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and icon of the Age of Discovery, as well as the Monument to the Discoveries.
Next, you'll be awed by the masterful Manueline architecture of the Jerónimos Monastery, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the extravagant Ajuda National Palace, one of Lisbon's oldest neoclassical buildings (replaced by the Royal Treasury Museum when it closed).

Along the river, we arrive at Alfama, an old and traditional neighborhood, where you'll have the opportunity to stroll its narrow streets and visit a craft shop, if you wish. Next, you'll pass through Baixa to admire Lisbon's most important squares, such as the monumental Praça do Comércio; Praça do Rossio, the heart of Lisbon; and the symbolic Praça dos Restauradores. Next, you can stroll along Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon's boulevard, to finish at Praça Marquês de Pombal, admiring the statue of the 18th-century Portuguese statesman responsible for rebuilding Lisbon after one of the deadliest earthquakes in history, the 1755 Lisbon Earthquake. Notes: Please keep in mind that we do not offer pick-up at all hotels in Lisbon, in which case we will confirm a meeting point at the nearest pick-up point.
