- Trekking Laguna Esmeralda
We will leave the hotel by minibus overland (20 km) towards the Tierra Mayor valley. From the Nunatak refuge we begin the walk during which we cross the túrbales, streams and centuries-old forests of Lengas and Coihues. The possibility of seeing foxes, condors and beavers is always present.
The Emerald Lagoon is located in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego Natural and Landscape Reserve, the color of its waters and its geographical location in the middle of the Fueguina mountain range invites us to stop and rest on its banks while we have lunch.
Finally, we begin our return to the refuge using a different route than the one we are going and then return to the hotel.
Cancellation 5 days before the service children aged 0 to 11 years have a 20% discount (not recommended if there are minors) minimum of 2 pax Please remember that the round trip takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
The difficulty is medium-low for those who usually walk on mountain trails.
It is advisable to have very good shoes and a coat, as you are crossing peat bogs and humid environments and in the mountains a blizzard can surprise us.
