It is essential to have appropriate clothing: dress in layers, using waterproof clothing, along with a thermal blouse or fleece jacket, gloves, cap, scarf or thermal collar.

As far as footwear is concerned, they should be boots suitable for trekking (not sneakers), waterproof and with a sole that allows good grip during walks. The terrain in forests, valleys and mountains is characterized by ice, snow (in winter) and mud (in summer). In addition, there is peat, roots and loose stones that can cause serious accidents if appropriate footwear is not worn.
