TourA Day Visit in Medellín

On our tour of Medellín, the charming “City of Eternal Spring,” we will experience a unique journey through one of the most innovative cities in Latin America. We will get to know an impressive story of overcoming challenges up close: a city that, just a few decades ago, was marked by violence linked to drug trafficking and gang disputes, and which today stands as a model of urban transformation and social inclusion.

During the tour, we will learn a little about the history of Medellín and enjoy incredible panoramic views of the city, which reflect its renewal. We will visit the famous Plaza Botero, where we will see the expressive sculptures of the Colombian master Fernando Botero, whose works have become a true icon of the city.

We will continue to Santo Domingo, a neighborhood that we will reach via the metro cable car, a transportation system that connects previously isolated communities. There, we will understand how urban mobility has contributed to improving the local quality of life.

Next, we will go to Comuna 13, a remarkable example of social transformation, where we will see the public escalators — a pioneering initiative that made it easier for residents to access the higher areas of the neighborhood and became a symbol of progress. We will walk through its streets full of life and color, adorned with urban art murals that tell the story of struggle, resistance and hope of the people of Medellín.

We will also tour the city's historic center, visiting iconic sites such as Berrío Park, while listening to the stories and perspectives of the inhabitants themselves about the changes they have experienced.
