On our tour, we will embark on an unforgettable journey to one of the most spectacular destinations near Medellín: the impressive Piedra del Peñol. We will climb its 740 steps to the top of the 200-meter-high monolith and, from there, contemplate a breathtaking landscape, with an immense blue lake dotted with islands and surrounded by verdant mountains.
We will continue on to the charming town of Guatapé, known for its pleasant climate, its beautiful church and, above all, for the colorful and artistic facades — the famous zócalos — that adorn the houses of the village, making each street a true postcard.
During this day trip, we will explore the mountains of western Antioquia along a scenic route, take a relaxing boat ride on the lake, and enjoy a delicious traditional Colombian lunch on the shores of the reservoir.
