Founded in 1612 by the French, invaded by the Dutch and colonized by the Portuguese, curiously known as the most Lusitanian of Brazilian cities, São Luís has stories as far as the eye can see. There are more than three thousand five hundred buildings of unparalleled historical value and distributed among squares, streets and alleys that make up one of the most beautiful architectural complexes in the country.
Route: Departure from the hotel in an air-conditioned, panoramic vehicle through the new part of the city to the stop in the historic center. Disembarkation and start of a light walk through the old town visiting the main points of the city's history. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant (included). Afterwards, continuation of the tour to visit museums that unveil history and culture. Return to the hotel.
Main attractions: 1st Part: Av. Litorânea, Lagoa da Jansen, Espigão Costeiro, Praça Gonçalves Dias, Av. Beira Mar, Pedra da Memória, Praça Dom Pedro II, Palácio dos Leões, Sé Cathedral, Praça Benedito Leite, Edifício São Luís, Praça João Lisboa, Largo do Carmo. Stop for lunch.
2nd Part: Historical and Artistic Museum, Fonte do Ribeirão, Arthur Azevedo Theater, Museum of Gastronomy, Museum of Reggae, Museum of Visual Arts and Mercado das Tulhas.
