TourExcursion to Cape Sunio

To reach Cape Sunio, the southernmost point of the Attica Peninsula, we will travel 70 kilometers of coastline, passing through elegant seaside residential neighborhoods such as Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza and different coastal towns, enjoying incomparable views of the Aegean Sea.

We will pass by the Cape Rock, where, according to myth, King Aegeus threw himself into the sea thinking that his son Theseus had not managed to survive the terrible ordeal of the Minotaur's labyrinth, giving its name to this eastern part of the Mediterranean.

Finally, we will pass by the open sea, where the Athenians worshipped Poseidon and Athena since the Geometric period, in addition to being a fortress that dominated the entrance to the Saronic Gulf.
