TourDelphi Tour with Lunch

The landscape, heading towards the Sanctuary of Delphi, begins to transform, from the plains of Boeotia to the slopes of Parnassos, the majestic and imposing mountain.

For the ancients, Delphi was the center of the world, called the "navel" of the Earth. From an early age, the Oracle of Delphi acquired great influence throughout the known world at that time. The predictions of the priestess of Apollo, whose nickname was Pythius, greatly influenced individual decision-making and sometimes had a huge impact on the history of ancient cities and governments.

The tour begins with the Via Sacra, until reaching the abode of the God. This path was decorated with numerous offerings from Greek and foreign cities, as well as statues, cities dedicated to the treasures of God to house the offerings in the form of small temples.

Soon after we will visit one of the most important buildings found on the Via Sacra, the Treasury of the Athenians: behind the temple is the theater, and above, the stadium.

The visit continues with the second most important sanctuary of Delphi, dedicated to Athena Pronaia, and then with the Museum, one of the most important in the whole country, with unique pieces.

Lunch is included in the tour (drinks to be paid locally).
