We'll travel to the majestic Hill of 14 Colors, also known as Serranías del Hornocal. This excursion will allow us to appreciate the most impressive colors of northern Argentina, its culture, its unique villages, and its people.
We will leave the city of Salta, exiting through the city's central access and taking National Route 9, to then enter the municipality of General Güemes, via National Route 34. Further on, we will enter the sister province of Jujuy, where we will have the opportunity to visit the magnificent Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its imposing landscapes and picturesque villages, such as:
Volcano
Purmamarca, where the majestic Hill of the 7 Colors Tilcara is located
Humahuaca, the largest city in the Uquía ravine, the town where the Church of San Francisco de Paula is located, dating from the 17th century, which houses ancient paintings of the Archangels, from Cusco, Peru, painted at the time of the Huacalera colonization, where we cross the imaginary line of the Tropic of Capricorn
And finally, La Paleta del Pintor, in Maimará. Unlike the traditional tour, this one doesn't visit the town of Humahuaca, but continues on to the impressive Serranías del Hornocal. In this case, we recommend bringing your own picnic, which you can enjoy after returning from this point.
We will meet up with the group again and then begin our journey back, making alternate stops along the way.

Bring your lunch or picnic to eat in the oven corner, as we spent our lunch break in Humahuaca traveling to and from the mountains.
We recommend visiting the Church of San Francisco Solano, the Monument to the Heroes of Independence
Lunch options at destinations are at the discretion of passengers. Meals are not included.
The vehicles used are 15- and 18-passenger vans or 23- or 27-passenger minibuses. Equipped with air conditioning, heating, and USB ports.
Tours can be picked up at your hotel, at different meeting points to be arranged, or at the local operator's office in the heart of the city.
Search for hotels located in the city center, less than 8 blocks from the main 9 de Julio square.
