ITINERARY
Departure from the main square of Huamanga.
Visit the province of Huancasancos, we will learn a little about its history, the plane shot down during the terrorism era, and the cattle that sustain the province of Huancasancos.
On the way, we will stop in the village of Huanca Sancos for breakfast on our own.
As we continue, you can also enjoy the landscape, terraces, canyon, and waterfalls. At 10:00 a.m., we'll reach Pachapupum Volcano (4,021 meters above sea level), a natural wonder, a natural stone monument shaped like a gigantic cone. It's surrounded by volcanic rocks and lagoons with thermal waters of various shapes. This natural feature is unique in the world and has its stepped shape due to the solidification of lava around the crater.
Approximately, to reach the crater we will walk through its stepped shape formed by the solidification of lava, in the presence of turquoise water in a permanent state of boiling.
Around this monument are rustic wells of medicinal thermal waters, where you can enjoy a bath with a panoramic view of nature.
Finally, we will take a break for lunch and then return by bus to Ayacucho.
