Trek through dramatic landscapes, navigate challenging terrain, and conquer thrilling obstacles as you venture into Peru's rugged beauty. This tour is the perfect choice for adventurers seeking an unforgettable adrenaline rush amid Ayacucho's stunning natural wonders.
ITINERARY
We will meet at our meeting point to begin this excursion in the surroundings of Ayacucho.
The Qorihuillca Canyon, located northwest of the city of Ayacucho, about 40 minutes away, is one of the best-kept secrets of this destination.
We start at Qorihuillca Canyon where we will begin the 50-meter rappel with all safety measures.
The trail, which passes through the middle of a large crevice formed by the passage of a river that eroded the land, is 2 km long and can be covered in two hours.
We will pass through illuminated places and others completely dark, underground.
We'll have the opportunity to see a variety of insects, so it's important to follow the guide's instructions to determine which are dangerous and which are not. Additionally, if we're lucky, we might spot some bats in the caves.
Continuing the tour, we will emerge onto the surface through a ravine that we will have to climb to reach the plain, where we will take a short walk to where our vehicle will be waiting for us to return to Ayacucho and end the activity. Notes: Reservations can be made up to the day before departure.
