The Manresa Water and Textile Museum opened in 1992 inside the city's impressive water tanks, now emptied and restored. Since 2009, it has hosted two exhibitions that explore, on the one hand, the importance of water reaching the city thanks to the construction of the Sèquia de Manresa (Canal), an impressive 26-kilometer waterway built in the 14th century that continues to supply the region today, and, on the other, the evolution of the Catalan textile industry from the late Middle Ages to the present day.
