ITINERARY
Day 1:
Passengers are picked up in a 4x4 vehicle, heading towards Chiguata, to the Pampas del Misti.
The car journey takes about an hour and a half to 3,400 meters, where we will begin the trek.
The climb will take approximately five hours to the base camp, located at 4,665 meters.
Along the way, you can observe local flora and fauna, such as cacti and different birds.
When we arrive at camp, we'll set up our tents and have lunch. The day ends with a beautiful sunset.
Second day:
After breakfast at 3 am, we will begin the climb to the summit slowly for about six hours to the summit at 5,825 meters.
From here, you can see the Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes, the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, and a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Arequipa.
After observing the landscape, resting and taking photos, we will begin the return to base camp, with the return being fun and easy.
After a snack and a brief rest, we'll descend for another two hours to 3,400 meters. Here, the car awaits us to take us back to the city of Arequipa and our hotels.
Arrival will be approximately at 4:00 pm. Notes: Reservations can be made up to the day before departure.
