This tour offers a fascinating combination of colorful landscapes, nature, and ancient history, revealing some of the cultural and geological treasures of the Atacama Desert.

The first stop was the stunning Rainbow Valley (Valle del Arcoiris), a captivating place with its varied hues of rock formations—green, red, white, and yellow—caused by the presence of different minerals. The contrast of these colors with the blue desert sky creates an almost surreal scene, worthy of contemplation and plenty of photos.

Next, we visited Yerbas Buenas, an important archaeological site and one of the few places in the region with dense vegetation. There, in addition to the natural beauty, you can feel the historic energy of the place, which served as a transit route for ancient indigenous caravans.

The highlight of the tour was a visit to the petroglyphs, ancient rock carvings carved into rocks by indigenous peoples thousands of years ago. These engravings depict human figures, animals, and scenes from everyday life, offering a true immersion into the past and traditions of the pre-Columbian cultures that inhabited the region.

Along the way, stunning landscapes, profound silence, and historical remains combine to create an enriching experience that connects visitors to the nature and ancient history of the Atacama.
