Located just 8 km from Valparaíso, Viña del Mar is considered Chile's best beach resort, thanks to its privileged location, vibrant nightlife, and modern architecture.
The tour begins with pickup from Valparaíso hotels at approximately 2:00 PM. The first stop will be Viña del Mar (literally "Vineyard of the Sea"): the city is known as the "Garden City" (Ciudad Jardin) for its well-kept gardens and flowers everywhere. We'll visit the city's main streets, including Peru Avenue, San Martín Avenue, Viana Avenue, Álvarez Avenue, Marina Avenue, Libertad Avenue with the old Casino, Plaza de Armas, and Quinta Vergara. Here we'll stop to admire the beautiful gardens and visit the famous theater where the annual "Festival Internacional de la Canción" (International Song Festival) takes place.
Then we'll visit the Garden Clock, one of the city's most famous landmarks, a dial created with seasonal flowers.
We'll continue to the town of Reñaca, where we'll enjoy panoramic views of its beaches and the Sea Lions Lookout. Our next stop will be at Pedra Oceânica, a site declared a Natural Sanctuary for the diversity of its flora and fauna. The journey continues to the coastal town of Concón: after crossing the bridge over the Aconcagua River, we'll arrive at "La Isla" Ecological Park, where we'll enjoy stunning views of the Delta River and the diverse bird species that inhabit the area.
The tour ends at your hotel in Valparaíso; alternatively, you can disembark in Viña del Mar to enjoy a fabulous dinner at one of the beachfront restaurants (dinner and transportation back to the hotel are at your own expense).
