Marvel at the beauty of Pillones Waterfall, where crystal-clear waters create an oasis of serenity. Explore the enchanting Imata Stone Forest, a place where ancient rock formations tell stories of time. This tour promises an encounter with nature's most captivating creations.
ITINERARY
We will pick you up at hotels located in the city center and begin our tour.
Our first stop will be at the village of Pampa de Arrieros, which was once the entrance to the white city for people arriving by train.
Then we will go to Patahuasi to drink the traditional Mate de Coca, a mandatory drink to avoid altitude sickness (breakfast).
Next, we head to the Puruña Stone Forest, where we begin our approximately 40-minute hike. There, we can admire the Stone Forest, a natural site with strange rock formations and stone columns.
In about an hour, we'll reach Pillones Waterfall, a magnificent place to connect with nature. We'll begin our descent to reach the waterfall in about 20 minutes. Upon arrival, we'll witness the incredible cascades of this impressive waterfall. There, we'll have time to take photos and enjoy the incredible surrounding landscape. We'll also be able to observe shaped rocks created by water erosion.
Lunch (Patahuasi).
Finally, after enjoying this wonderful landscape, we will return to the city.
We will arrive in the city of Arequipa, and we will drop you off near the Plaza de Armas. Notes: Reservations can be made up to the day before departure.
