TourNight tour of Mykonos Town

This Tour explores the medieval city of Mykonos, also known as “Chora”, famous as a cosmopolitan island due to the lifestyle and variety of visitors who arrive from all over the world.

The traditional style of Mykonos is reflected in the city limits, inside we are offered an authentic tour of the places less appreciated by many of its visitors.

We will be offered the opportunity of a lifetime to experience first-hand the true beauty of the Mykonian city, reliving its history and memories.

The wonderful walk through unknown streets and the secret corners of Mykonos will be presented by our guide, who will share his knowledge and stories in our company, it will begin at 6pm, after meeting at our meeting point, at the well-known location of the Archaeological Museum and the Remezzo restaurant, close to the old port, where our tour will begin.

As we walk along the paved coastal road, we will pass Manto Square, where the famous monument of Manto Mavrogenous stands, the heroine of the Greek War for Independence.

Soon after, we will arrive at the famous Matogianni area, where we will find clothing and footwear stores from famous brands and famous attractions such as Três Poçõs (Tria Pigadia), Manto Mavrogeneus' mother's house and the maritime museum.

From here, we will continue our walk and pass by the traditional “Gioras Bakery”, an underground wood-burning stove that continues to this day, where we can enjoy products and refreshments from a traditional bakery (optional), before heading to the five windmills, which proudly continue to stand as a local attraction after being shut down.

Crossing the narrow path of the mills, through the castle of Chora and the area of ​​Scapa where “Little Venice” is located, which is famous for its picturesque two-story medieval houses (we will have a 15-minute break to admire the place), we will be able to appreciate the elaborate church of “Panagia Paraportiani”, one of the most famous architectural structures in Greece, and the Folklore Museum.

Finally, we will return to our starting point and pass the famous Agios Nikolaos church in the old port.
