ITINERARY
Cape Town city center, where our tour begins at 8:00 am, is the starting point for this exciting itinerary from your Cape Town accommodation. Cape Town is known for Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Cape of Good Hope, seals, wine tasting, and romantic honeymoons. We'll tour the city center to see some historic monuments and buildings.
Bo-kaap is our first stop, a suburb of Cape Town that, since 1834, has marked the end of slavery in the Cape Colony. It's a hillside daytime destination known for its narrow cobblestone streets lined with colorful houses. Here, you'll capture beautiful photos for your Instagram page.
Table Mountain is a unique symbol of the peninsula, rising 1,067 meters above sea level. The Table Mountain tour is done on a cable car designed to rotate 360 degrees along the route, providing a complete panoramic view—the most spectacular way to ascend and explore Cape Town's famous flat top. Table Mountain is the ideal place to sit back and enjoy the stunning 360-degree views of Cape Town, and is flanked by Devil's Peak and Lion's Head. The mountain is home to over 1,460 species of fynbos and animals such as caracal, mongoose, and dassie, and has been a protected area for over 100 years. The quickest way to the summit is via the Table Mountain Cable Car, but there are also a variety of adventure trails that lead to the summit. Please note that this tour is EXCLUSIVE, so you will have to pay your own entrance fee, an adult R400.
Considered the oldest building in South Africa, this 17th-century castle houses numerous military memorabilia, historical artifacts, and works of art. Built by the DEIC between 1666 and 1679, the Castle of Good Hope is the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa. During the Second Boer War (1899-1902), part of the castle was used as a prison, and the old cells survive to this day. The castle was the headquarters of the South African Army in the Western Cape and currently houses the Castle Military Museum and ceremonial facilities for the traditional Cape regiments.
On July 24, 2018, a statue of Nelson Mandela was unveiled. It was placed on the balcony of Cape Town City Hall, overlooking Grand Parade, in Cape Town, South Africa. Nelson Mandela was the first president of post-apartheid South Africa and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.
