ITINERARY
Our tour begins in Cape Town, with pickup from your Cape Town accommodation between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. The exact departure time will be communicated to you the day before the tour. Cape Town is known for Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Cape of Good Hope, seals, wine tasting, and romantic honeymoons.
St. James Beach in Muizenberg, where visitors can see the colorful beach huts and take photos. These huts are used as changing rooms for swimmers, and the guide will share the history of the beach huts with visitors. The beach is famous as a surfing hotspot in Cape Town and is also home to a surfing community, swimming pools, and colorful wooden huts.
Founded in 1679 by the second governor, Simon Van der Stel, it is the second-oldest city in South Africa. It is home to the South African naval base. Formerly the British Commonwealth headquarters after the British took power in 1944 following World War II, Martello House is the oldest British-built building in the country and the oldest of its kind in the world.
Boulder's Beach is located in Simon's Town, known as one of Cape Town's best beaches. The warm waters of False Bay make it ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The highlight of Boulder's Beach is, of course, the charming colony of African penguins. Visit these friendly penguins in their natural habitat and encounter some of them along the way, who love to take photos with visitors... The best place to see African penguins and the pebble beach.
The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve is the highlight of the day. A visit to Cape Town isn't complete without a photo behind the Cape of Good Hope sign. Your tour guide will share the history of the two lighthouses, known as the Bartolomeu Dias Lighthouse and the Vasco Da Game Lighthouse. The Cape of Good Hope is the most southwestern point of the African continent, with two currents: the warm Agulhas and the cold Benguela.
During this time of year, most travelers opt for the short hike from the Cape of Good Hope to Cape Point Lighthouse. However, if you're not comfortable with the short hike or are not in good health, your guide will take you to the Flying Dutchman funicular, where you'll travel to Cape Point Lighthouse (fee excluded from the tour price). Cape Point is the official meeting point of two ocean currents: the cold Benguela and the warm Agulhus. Cape Point is famous for the Flying Dutchman funicular, the old lighthouse, and the best viewpoint at Cape Point.
Chapman's Peak Drive is one of the most scenic routes in the world. We stopped at Chapman's Peak viewpoint, where travelers will be awed by the spectacular view of mountain ranges and endless expanses of ocean, as waves crash against the rocks and white sand shores. It's one of the most rewarding scenic drives in the country, if not the world. The road hugs the nearly vertical face of the mountain, connecting Hout Bay to the suburb of Noordhoek. There are 114 curves in no more than a kilometer and the road is 593 meters above sea level. Tourists and locals alike often stop at the viewpoints along the way, the most popular for strolling and taking the best photos of any Cape Town trip.
This is where we conclude our day tour with a drop-off at your address or hotel in Cape Town. Cape Town is famous for Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Cape of Good Hope, wine tasting, and a great honeymoon destination.
