ITINERARY
Pickup at 8:00 AM from your accommodation/hotel in and around the city. The tour begins in central Cape Town and continues along the N1 highway, passing the Language Monument on the outskirts of Paarl. This is a 2-3-hour drive from Cape Town to Aquila, a 4-star family-friendly destination where you'll enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive from Cape Town to the Aquila Game Reserve.
The Du Toitskloof/Huguenot Tunnel is South Africa's longest tunnel and curvilinear structure, stretching an impressive 4 kilometers through the Du Toitskloof Mountains in the Western Cape. De Wet Winery was founded on April 15, 1946, and is Worcester's oldest winery, originally producing approximately 3,000 tons of grapes annually, but has since evolved into a quality processing winery with approximately 22,000 tons per year. This is where we will conduct our wine tasting today. It has a rich history of producing high-quality wines. The property is known for its picturesque vineyard landscapes and wide variety of wines, including reds, whites, and blends. Focusing on traditional winemaking techniques, De Wet Cellar offers visitors the opportunity to taste exceptional wines in a beautiful and serene setting.
