Activity description
The bo-kaap story that mainly talks about the abolition of slavery and the Islamic religion, as well as diversity.
The history of Stellenbosch and its surrounding area since 1679 is as rich, complex, and rich as its most famous variety, Pinotage, which is rooted in the town's soil. It is also considered the heart of South African winemaking.
This tour could change your life. Enjoy our morning pickup service from the comfort of your hotel and explore the Cape Winelands region to the fullest without the hassle of driving. This full-day tour will take you to the best wineries accompanied by cheese and biltong. Along the way, discover the historic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek—the French corner here would be known as the French connection—and see Drakenstein, the prison that once held Nelson Mandela for two years, the last of his 27 years of incarceration before his release on February 11, 1990. You'll have the opportunity to purchase wine and any dairy products at very reasonable prices.
ITINERARY
Our tour begins in Cape Town. Pickup will be from your Cape Town accommodation between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. The exact departure time will be communicated to you the day before the tour. Cape Town is known for Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Cape of Good Hope, seals, wine tasting, and romantic honeymoons.
Along the N2 lies the neighborhood and informal settlement of Langa, the oldest ghetto in the country, known primarily for its black population, followed by Bonteheuwel, occupied by the colored population.
Most of the Black people living in the N2 neighborhood were not born in Cape Town, but in Cape Pasqua, the country's poorest province. On the corner of N2 and Baden Powell is Cape Town's largest film studio.
Founded in 1962, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious in South Africa. The farm's philosophy is centered on the tasting room on the banks of our farm's dam, where you can sample Ward's award-winning wines and delicious cured meats, cheeses, and olives. This wine farm is situated near a tranquil reservoir overlooking the Helderberg Mountains and offers exceptional wines and breathtaking scenery.
At these facilities, you'll encounter big cats: white and brown lions, white tigers, and Bengal tigers. Black leopards and African leopards can be seen among the eland and other antelopes, while the eland, the most dominant and largest antelope in Africa, is also home to the mountain zebra and other antelopes. This trip is also great for families, as the eland also has a playground with domestic and farm animals, such as rabbits, ducks, dockey, llamas, goats, and more.
